Ketsueki hissed angrily at the intruder as she stood up and spun around the second wrapped puppet, revealing it to look similar to Kankuro's Kuroari, 200 years ago.
Almost immediately chakra strings attached to the two puppets and the wooden figures seemed to come to life.
Using the guidance of the chakra strings, Ketsueki had Kurokarasu sit hanging on her side while Kurokitsune got battle-ready in the front.
"Who are you?" Ketsueki asked the rogue ninja in a hiss before watching it vanished in a puff of smoke, "Dammit! A shadow clone! The real ninja is out here hiding!"
Suddenly a cruel cackle entered the clearing and Ketsueki stiffened slightly. The young Kazekage recognised that voice all too well.
"No... Cepeda-san! Bad news! Akatsuki!" Ketsueki yelled as blades protruded from Kurokitsune's four hands, all dipped with poison.
"Good guess, Ketty-chan!" The echoing voice called, following by a cruel laugh.
"You're using a ventriloquist jutsu!" Ketsueki called out, annoyed, "Ryuu!"
Ryuu, suddenly noticing the thrown kunai, leaps up from her position in the far right bushes and counters the kunai with two small shuriken blades as she landed out in the centre of the clearing, revealing herself to the two companions.
She had long black hair down to her mid-back, tied in a loose plait, she had black painted nails and a ring on her left thumb. She was wearing a long Akatsuki robe that reached just below her knees and three giant shuriken on her back.
Around her eyes were dark rings like that of the 'Great Gaara' 200 years in the past, even though she did not inherit nor be given the bijuu, Shukaku. In other words, Ryuu was not a jinchuuriki.
Around her waist was a tied ninja belt that held a scarred leaf village symbol on it and an attached, folded demon wind shuriken blade. Connected to it was a large sash was, near the shoulder, a sand village symbol also slashed.
On the right side of her forehead was also the engraved kanji symbol symbolising 'death' or the end of life. This was Ryuu Jaraiya Kaneda, the leader of the ten Akatsuki.
"Boo." She said blankly, making the young 19th Kazekage growl angrily.
"I should've known you'd be out here, Ryuu-'sensei'" Ketsueki growled back, "How's the demon vessel hunt? Failing as usual?"
"Tch, tch, tch... Always all bark and no bite, Ketty-chan. It's a shame, really, showing someone as pathetic as you was elected for the 19th Kazekage of the sand. Their standards sure have dropped." Ryuu teased, earning a growl again from her female opponent, "Oh, how cute, you brought the Hyuuga Clan Leader, Cepeda Hyuuga with you. I guess you were expecting me."
"Of course, you always love to ruin everything peaceful that I have." Ketsueki as Kurokarasu flew from her shoulder and to into an attack position in front of her beside Kurokitsune, her other puppet, "Now lets see how invincible you are to the sixth's secret poison."
"You mean that purple liquid Kazekage Kankuro used on his puppets too? I've studied it and made an antidote." Ryuu replied with a smirk, before dropping it at her opponent's snicker.
"I've upgraded it." Ket replied as Kurokarasu's mouth opened to reveal a kunai ready to shoot out, dabbed in point of course, "Cepeda-san, I bet her partner is around here somewhere, scout her out and deal with her, I'll deal with Ryuu."
"Are you so dumb to actually think I'll tell you? Go find her yourself, kid." Ryuu hissed at the Hyuuga before unclipping one of the three giant shuriken on her back and swirling it in her hands, "Now, Ketty, lets see if your puppets can defend you from this!"
In an instant, Ryuu was behind Ketsueki and was swing the shuriken in the direction of her head.
Whoa. Ryuu-sensei is much more skilled than I had anticipated, looks like I'll have to use a quick technique to dodge the attack. Ketsueki quickly thought before gasping just when the shuriken ran right through her neck, 'supposedly' killing her. That was until she crumbled to the ground in a pile of sand.
Instantly, three kunai shot out of the bush behind the Akatsuki leader that were aimed for her back, making the woman leap into the air in order to dodge them.
"You fell right into my trap! Secret Black Move: Iron Maiden!" Ketsueki called out as she leapt from the bushes as Kurokarasu kicked Ryuu into Kurokitsune's chest compartment.
Instantly, the doors to the compartment closed on them and all four of Kurokarasu's arms, along with it's head, detached from the puppets body and dug into 5 assigned holes outside the puppet.
"You're finished." Ketsueki smirked before growling as sand began to pour from the gaps within the compartment, Ketsueki then opened it to reveal she had just destroyed Ryuu's sand clone, "No! A Sand clone!"
"Hn, you always had a talent for jutsu identification, Ketty... too bad you didn't see this coming!" Ryuu shouted as two flaming giant shuriken shot at the puppeteer, making her leap up to dodge them, "Got cha!"
Suddenly Ryuu leapt up under the young Kazekage and began to kick her higher up in the air, earning a pained grunt every time.
"I bet you recognise this taijutsu move, Ketty, LION'S BARRAGE!" In an instant Ryuu kicked her feircy down to the ground by a kick on the stomach, creating a small crater afterwards.
After the initial attack, Ryuu slowly stood up, broken and bruised before smirking cruelly and shattering into a pile of sand.
Ketsueki, on the other hand, slowly sat up, clutching her dislocated arm as the pain coursed through her body. Hissing, she roughly pushed it back in place as she stood up, ignoring the small trickle of blood from her lips, the bruises all over her body, the broken rib and the immense pain it all gave out. She wasn't the Kazekage for nothing.
"Is that... ugh... Is that all you've got? A little taijutsu?" Ketsueki growled as her chakra strings reattached to her two puppets and they got up ready to fight again, "And sand clones? Is that all the legendary Akatsuki leader has to offer? If that's all the Akatsuki leader can dish out, then I guess the group's standards have dropped somewhat."
Suddenly, Ketsueki's eyes changed from onyx to red as the three tomoe sharingan took it's place in her eyes.
"Now it's time we got serious!"
Ketsueki nodded in agreement as she moved her hand into the shadow clone sign.
"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Suddenly, 30 shadow clones appeared all around Ketsueki herself, "Wrap up the puppets, it's time the real fun begun!"
In an instant, two shadow clones quickly wrapped up the two puppets and Ketsueki mounted them on her back, even though all of her clones also already had the puppets on their backs.
"Saru, tatsu, ne, tori, ushi, mi, inu, tora, saru," Ketsueki mumbled as she preformed the set 9 hand signs before cupping her hand downwards towards the ground, then shouting out, "CHIDORI!"
Suddenly, chakra began to gather in her hand as a bright blue ball appeared in the base of the downward cupped hand with electricity flickering all around it and the sound of 1000 birds began to echo in the battle arena.
Suddenly, the real Ryuu threw out her demon wind shuriken and used her slight chakra string control to guide it around, making the blade take down all of Cepeda and Ketsueki's clones before returning to Ryuu.
After the clones were dealt with, Ryuu leapt out of the bush as unclipped one of the three giant shuriken from her back and began twirling it in her left hand while she held the other one up where it engulfed within red flames.
"Let's see what wins, your Chidori, or my kasai riri^su!" Ryuu shouted as the shuriken caught ablaze and was shot quickly in Cepeda's direction before Ketsueki and Ryuu began to quickly approach eachother with both kasai riri^su and chidori in hand.
"Find Kontan! Now! That is an order!" Ketsueki shouted out right before the blinding flash and crash of the two attacks colliding.
he does 8 Trigrams rotation knocking the Shuriken away as he dashes into the forest finding a Trace of kontans chakra as he follows the direction he finds her as she looks at him and he looks at her
he yells
"What The Hell ive been looking for you"
Kontan:I didnt eant to be found I left you and that idiotic village for a reason
Kontan charges with sirgiatka in her hand slicing at me as i duck and do a backflip kick knocking it out of her hand
"ARGH!" Ketsueki yelled out as she and Ryuu both fell back, going through a few trees in the process.
Once the smoke was cleared, Ketsueki forced herself to stand up, summoning a shadow clone as support.
"Gah... ouch, shit, I broke my leg... Damn Akatsuki..." Ketsueki moaned quietly in pain as the shadow clone set her down gently and she made the hand sign to active her Earth Style: Head hunter Jutsu.
Earth Style: Head Hunter Jutsu! She thought as her injured body sunk under ground completely and began to very slowly make her way over to Ryuu.
Ryuu was back on her feet in an instant. Sure, that had hurt, but nt too much thanks to the body armour Konton had her put on earlier, it softened the blow.
"I bet that brat's in alot of pain right now." Ryuu snickered as she saw someone approaching her in a limp, "Speaking on Ketsueki..."
Just as Ryuu expected, it was Ketsueki limping in this direction and after a couple more minutes waiting, Ketsueki was directly in front of her.
"Does it hurt?" Ryuu snickered as Ketsueki hissed and fell on a tree for support.
"I-I... It... SIKE!" She yelled out as she leaped into the air and threw countless shuriken at Ryuu's head.
With ease, Ryuu deflected then with her folded up demon wind shuriken.
"What?!" Ryuu growled as she unfolded the shuriken and threw it at Ketsueki, grinning when it went right through her.
POOF!
"A SHADOW CLONE?!" Ryuu yelled as she kept looking left and right, along with up, "Gah! Where are you, Ketty?"
"Where you least expect me!" Ketsueki said from beneath Ryuu as she grabbed both of her ex-sensei's leg and dragged her down with immense force while emerging completely from the soil herself. Ryuu now looked like a lonely head sitting in the soil.
"What jutsu was that?!"
"A little trick I learnt on a little trip to the leaf village, I copied it with my sharingan. Head hunter jutsu. Heh, I can't be bothered taking you out right now, you look to pitiful. So now I'm going to bring down your partner. Sianara, sucker! WhaHoo!" Ket called out as she raced off into the trees in the direction where she sensed the Hyuuga's chakra.
Kontan punches Cepeda as he backs up and comes in with kick to her stomach as he grabs my goot and throws me in the air as she does handsigns spins as she hits my stomach with a Tunneling fang as i fly back
Kontan....
Kontan:SHUT UP
She then punches the ground as i grab her fist throwing her to the ground as i then pull a Kunai out putting it on her skin but not yet cutting her
"Saru, tatsu, ne, tori, ushi, mi, inu, tora, saru," Ketsueki said quickly in sequence with the matching hand signs as she activated Chidori again, "Kontan, I'm gunna chidori your ass now!"
Ketsueki then leapt into the air and did a spinning swoop-dive towards Konton using the chidori as the nose.
"DIE!"
Ketsueki's eyes widened as she flexed her left hand to move the puppet out of the way of the blast as she sat in a nearby bush.
"So close..." She muttered before a kunai flew and hit right next to her head on the trunk of the tree, shocking her.
She swung her head around to see Ryuu angrily walking over to her, wiping dirt from her shoulder.
"Oh no you don't, your fight is with me, Ketty" Ryuu hissed as she took a shuriken from her back and began swinging it.
From the shock, Ketsueki had released her chakra strings, so now in the middle of the clearing where Cepeda and Kontan were fighting, was her prized puppet Kurokarasu sitting limp.
