Shinigami sighed as her brother literally dragged her down to the academy. Why she was forced by the council to do this academy stuff was beyond her, and she had planned to skip. Unfortunately, Teiru didn't let her.
When they entered the classroom, Shinigami stopped struggling when she saw Teiru ex-little-sister standing by the window and looking out at the play area.
"Usagi! It's been a while." Teiru said in a happy voice as he hugged his ex-sister before sitting down on one of the desks, while both Orenjimaru and Aoiromaru began to play a tackling match on the floor, being brothers and all.
"It's been years, genius. Alright, you ex-big-brother and I are here to teach you since... Ketsueki wont make it..." Shinigami trailed off in a solemn voice as she looked down at the ground sadly, leaving an awkward silence in the air, until Teiru spoke.
"Ya know, every time there's an awkward silence, a gay baby is born!" He exclaimed before pointing to Usagi at Shinigami's questioning gaze, "She told it to me."
"Just dob me in why don't ya" Usagi said as she turned away from the window, "so, what have you all been up to lately?" Usagi asked as she gave her ex-big-brother a hug.
Shinigami then sighed and crossed her arms with a pout.
"Because I'm still a chuunin, Teiru will be you new sensei." She grunted before smiling like she always did, "Eh, who cares? I'm in line for the slot of the 21st Kazekage anyways! Once Fujiiro dies, or passes down the spot, I'm gunna be Kazekage!"
Teiru just groaned and hugged Usagi back.
"Ignore her, she's had too much sugar... as usual..."
Teiru suddenly sat down and sighed sadly.
"About a month ago, I got back from a mission where we, Shinigami, Ketsueki and I, had to escort your teammate, Sekibaku, back to the leaf village to collect his belongings, while getting the Hokage to sign the peace treaty." The male just sighed sadly, "The mission was going well, until Ketsueki was abducted by the Akatsuki in order to trade her life for Shinigami and Sekibaku's. We had Tatsu-sama advance Sekibaku to genin level, even though he wont be declared genin until you reach the position as well, while Shinigami an I assembled all we could for the meeting with the Akatsuki..."
"It was going well, we had forces, the treaty was signed and it all was going ahead as planned. We went to the valley of the End on the specified day and we saw something we thought we'd never expect to see..." Shinigami then began to shake uncontrollably, Teiru finished her statement for her.
"K-Ketsueki stood beside Ryuu, donned in an Akatsuki robe, her mangekyou eyes activated and her left hand was in the form of a puppets. Her eyes looked dead, and for a brief moment, she looked confused at us, like she didn't recognize us." Teiru then let out a deep breathe before continuing, "She addressed Ryuu as 'Ryuu-sensei' or 'Ryuu-sama' and attacked us. She punched me in the arm with her wooden hand, and shattered the bone. I only got out of hosital three days ago. She also damaged Shinigami's psyche greatly. Even though she acts like normal... inside, there's nothing left. After all, it's not the first time she was betrayed by someone she loved."
Shinigami then just stood and left the room.
"As you should already know, after Ketsueki's betrayal, word returned to the village fast and they quickly decided on the next Kazekage. Shinigami." Teiru then gave a small chuckle as he looked in the direction of the door Shinigami left through, "But Shinigami stated she wasn't ready yet, so they agreed to have a new Kazekage take her place, but only for five years at the most. That's Sasuke Fujiiro. A close family friend."
Teiru then ruffled Usagi's hair lightly, knowing that she hated it.
"After Shinigami and I got back, both of us injured in different ways, we got hospital-bound until three days ago. Now, why didn't you come and see me? Tsume did, hell, even that twat, Aoiro did. Lazy bugger..."
"ok" Usagi started "1. don't ruffle my hair like that ever again, you know I don't like it, and yet you still do it, and 2. I was busy, I couldn't come to see you, sorry"
Suddenly Shinigami walked back in and handed her brother a scroll.
"Change of plans, I've been reassigned to an escort mission to the land of snow, so it looks like you and you alone can deal with your sister. Hey, I might get lucky, I might bump into my sister... no... I have a feeling I will bump into my sister. If I do, I'll tell you how it goes down..." With that, she vanished in her signature swirl of sand, leaving a fuming Teiru in her place.
"That... SHINIGAMI!!! YOU TWAT!!!" Teiru growled out angrily before sighing in defeat and turning back to his ex-sister, "Oh well. Ok, twat, it looks like I'm just your sensei. Brilliant... Alright then, Meet me in courtyard in five minutes and we'll start with transformations. If you want, I can teach you the sexy jutsu as well (wink wink, nudge nudge)"
"um, ok, no, and if you perform the sexy jutsu any where near me, I will hit you" Usagi said as she waked out of the room and towards the training grounds.
"Feh, brat..." With that, Teiru followed his twat of an ex-sister out ot the training grounds...
(Five minutes later)
"Ok, we're here... now for the transformation jutsu, ready, brat?"
"Feh, can it, twat. Do you wanna become a ninja or not? Don't make me fawn you off to being Sasuke's student, she's a real slave driver and doesn't take no for an answer." Teiru warned before ruffling her hair (to her dismay) and smirking, "Now, pup, time to learn the jutsu. Say go and I'll teach you, call me a dick one more time and you'll never become a genin."
"Hm?"
Suddenly noticing another presence in the desert academy's courtyard, Teiru turned to face another academy ninja, obviously confused about something or other.
After looking up and seeing a bird swoop around the sky, he just growled and dramatically sighed.
"Stupid chuunin brat..." Teiru muttered, referring to his sister, before grinning an toothy smile, one common amungst Inuzuka, "So you're Lanu Karatu, eh?"
(A/N: Be warned, he's a bit of an idiot, so he gets things wrong alot, he's also quite restless and he looks like Itachi, only with shorter brown hair)
