Past to Current - Kage Listing
Here is a listing of the past Kage until now. The list will grow when Kage pass away and new Kage take their place. Not to disappoint, but being owner of the forums, I reserve the right to keep the position of Kazekage for my characters, so if Ketsueki dies, another character of mine will take her place. Other Kage positions can be fought for though.
To take the position of a Kage is to kill the Kage, if you do not want the position, it is held on side by the Kage Council who will then decide who they want for the new Kage. Most Kage go by blood relative, but when knock-outs occur (kill the Kage and claim), then your clan is immediately in the bloodline for Kage. Also, the previous Kage has the ability to pass down his/her role of Kage to either a sibling, son/daughter or a member of his/her current/previous team. This will usually put you in a retirement stage so if the new Kage dies, you can reclaim your spot until a predecessor comes along.
Now for the list.
Now most Kage on these lists are just made up, but there are some canon Kage listed. On this site, the Kage levels start at the following:
22nd Hokage
20th Kazekage
20th Mizukage
14th Raikage
14th Tsuchikage
When a position is open, it will have '(Yet To Be Decided)' next to the Kage level (14th Raikage etc) on the list & If there is a current Kage in that position, he/she will have '(Current)' next to his/her name. You must be of at least Jounin level to be considered by the council, though usually only "Kage" Level ninja are chosen.
You can become Kage level through intensive training demonstrating being very powerful. Usually non-Kage, "Kage" Level ninja leave their village to go on their own journeys.
Those with 'Yet to be revealed' next to the stat means the position is taken, but the chosen character will be revealed later on.
