Who are the Kaneda?
The Kaneda clan is a well known clan originating in the Hidden Sand village. Because they hold the unique kekkei genkai of fire release, the clan usually specializes in powerful fire style jutsu including the massive flaming cremation and the blazing spin translocation.
The leader of the Akatsuki known as Ryuu Kaneda is a known member of this clan as she specializes in fire style jutsus and shuriken mastery. Before becoming a missing nin and reforming the Akatsuki, Ryuu was the first known ninja to hold a dual citizenship between the nations of fire and wind. Both symbols are scarred now as the sand is location on the sash while the leaf is on the belt. |
