Sekibaku was still confused and looking into the Kazekage's eyes.
"Well... yes. Twice. When my father was killed and when Mimoto Hyuga was killed. Those times I felt an unrivaled power course through my body. I never knew what it was though." he said, still very confused, "Why do you ask?"
"The Nine-Tailed Fox? I'm not quite following you, but okay." Sekibaku said, incredibly confused, "Hm... let's see. I know it is one of the nine tailed beasts and possesses an enormous amount of Chakra. I know it attacked Konohagakure 212 years ago and the fourth Hokage sealed it within his son, Naruto Uzu- wait... You're not saying...?" he gulped, "That I'm the Kyuubi's Jinchuuriki?"
His eyes widened, and he gasped. He was scared out of his wits.
Hn... I never expected him to catch on so quickly... he's a smart one alright... Ketsueki though with an amused look, before smiling at the boy.
"I'm afraid so, but don't worry, here in Sunagakure, we respect our Jinchuuriki, and all Jinchuuriki like we respect a normal Shinobi. My youngest sibling is Shukaku's Jinchuuriki, you know. She looks alot like the great Gaara, redhair, dark eyes, heck, even a similar outfit. There's only one thing about her you should know," Ketsueki gave a light chuckle, "My little sister is a complete idiot... speaking of the devil, Shinigami's back. Wait here and don't do anything stupid."
With that, Ketsueki vanished in a puff of smoke to go and greet her youngest sibling.
With a look of deep fear and confusion on his face, Sekibaku sat down on top of the Kazekage tower. He placed his right hand on his forehead and fell in to deep thought.
Me? Jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi? How? Why? My mother... is that why she died? How many people know about it? Is that what I've been feeling inside me for so long? Is that the secret of the Dragon mark? No... everyone in my clan has that. How come I haven't known before now? How can it be?
Five minutes later, the door that lead to the roof was kick off it's hinges as a severely annoyed Kazekage stormed through dragging a kunoichi along by the hair.
The red-haired kunoichi was shouting and scream to be let go, but Ketsueki just growled angrily and threw her out in front of Sekibaku.
"Sekibaku, this is the idiot, Shinigami, I told you about." Ketsueki said, pointing to the girl who was currently sitting on a nice cushion of sand and rubbing her head.
"Geez, ever since father died you've been acting like a real bitch to us, Ketsueki." Shinigami grumbled as she forced herself to stand up, "You're lucky I don't like killing people"
"Just remember who's on good terms with Shukaku here." Ketsueki sighed as she rubbed her temple and walked over to her puppet, to put it away.
Shinigami on the other hand, now stood at her full height. She had long, dark red hair that covered the whole right side of her face and black ringed eyes. She didn't have any eye brows and was wearing a long, maroon dress-like thing. She also wore black jeans under it and a large gourd on her back that was held up by a strap.
The girl raised a non-existent eyebrow before turning back to Ketsueki with folded arms.
"Ket, are you kidding me? He's at least an inch short than me." Shinigami commented as Ketsueki rolled her eyes and aimed to slap Shinigami, only for the sand to get in the way.
"Sorry Shukaku." Ket mumbled before pointing to the shocked ninja-to-be, "Baka, meet Sekibaku Sikinara, Kyuubi's home."
Shinigami huffed and raised an eyebrow.
"Where are the whiskers?" She asked confused, making Ketsueki growl.
"It's a genjutsu, you idiot. Here, let me remove it." She then did a set of hand signs and touched the boy's forehead, removing the near decade of genjutsu, reveal three whisker scars on each cheek, Shinigami grinned widely.
"Oh, he's so cute!!" She exclaimed as she hugged him.
"Sekibaku, just to let you know, you two are now on the same team, even though she is already a Chuunin, she can wait for you to progress. Shinigami is thirteen and is more of a pest than Teiru, so don't provoke her pestilence, I get enough at home... Shini, you can stay home for one weeks break, after that, it's back to missions. Got it?"
Glomp.
"ARGH! Get off of me, Shinigami!" Ketsueki growled at her clinging sister before finally getting her off of her arm, "Geez, you're such a pest. Oh, Seki-san, Rasengan practice, now."
Sekibaku had barely heard any of the commotion that preceded Ketsueki's "Rasengan, practice. Now!" outburst. He was too busy in his thinking. Still with a horrendous amount of fear and confusion in his expression.
Perhaps... just perhaps I should take up Ketsueki-sama's offer...
Then he looked up to see Shinigami tightly hugging Ketsueki and he couldn't help but laugh.
"Yes Ketsueki-sama." he said, smiling once again. Before he turned to go nearer the edge of the tower, he winked at Shinigami.
Hm... she's quite cute... with power to rival my own, though if the Naruto - Gaara incident is of any indication, perhaps I might be able to beat her if needed. he thought, And these whiskers. Perhaps I should get Ketsueki-sama to put that Genjutsu back on after my training is complete. They'll take some getting used to.
"Shinigami, you're an idiot, and shouldn't you be getting in some Sharingan practice? You're 13 years old and you haven't even activated the first stage yet, I activated it when I was 8 and Teiru when he was 9." Ketsueki lectured her sister before folding her arms, "And how many times do I have to tell you not to kill your team mates? You idiot, we are going to have no jounin left if you keep killing them."
"Hey, it's Shukaku's fault, not mine!" She protested.
"Sure... and last time you said it was Gaara's fault when Gaara's been dead for nearly 200 years." Ketsueki growled as Shinigami chuckled lightly.
"Ok, so I got a little out of hand. It was a sand tsunami gone wrong, I swear, and besides, I brought back one alive, didn't I?"
"Shinigami, I have half a mind to demote you back to Genin..."
"Ketty, you can't be that cruel to me!"
"Wanna bet?"
"Ok, you win..."
"Good. Now go over there and get some sharingan practice done, NOW!" Ketsueki ordered as her younger sister cringed and nodded before dashing to the other side of the roof and beginning to do some sharingan training, trying to unseal the kekkei genkai.
Ketsueki, on the other hand, was in a bad mood, but gave out a 'calm-the-fuck-down' sigh before putting on that false smile of hers and walking over to her temporary and maybe permanent student.
"Sekibaku, don't get cocky with my sister. She's an idiot, but at the same time, not someone to be messed with. Her squads usually have a habit of disappearing, so when around her, don't do anything stupid, I would rather keep my sister out of jail." Ketsueki explained out of nowhere as she looked at the boy with cold eyes, "One more thing, to get on Shinigami's nerves is one thing, ot get on Shukaku's nerves is a different story. Be wise and don't mock the bijuu around them, the sand sometimes acts on it's own in those occasions. Also, don't mock her about sleep, she never gets any. Even Teiru and I have more sleep than her, and seeing me or him in bed is a rarity. We're an insomniac bunch. If you join us here, however, you are more than welcome to live here in the Kazekage tower with us and become a part of our family, you can convince your family to move in too. The hall of this fat building get lonely sometimes and I'd rather have someone other than Teiru or Shinigami to talk to."
"I get that much" Sekibaku said with a chuckle, "I did a bit of reading on Naruto and Gaara, there's some crazy stuff going on when they go in to transformer mode, so I know not to mess with Jinchuuriki. We'll see whether I want to become your apprentice or go to the academy. Anyway, I think it's time I tried that Rasengan again. I think I got it pretty much right last time. Is there anything I can practice on up here?"
He looked around and didn't see anything. Though he couldn't help but spare a glance to where Shinigami was training.
Ketsueki followed his glance and smiled the first real smile she'd smiled throughout the whole time she'd been training the boy.
"You have a crush on Shinigami-imouto, don't you?" Ketsueki asked with a chuckle as she summoned up her puppet Kurokarasu again and had him in a standing pose.
Sekibaku rolled his eyes, but couldn't help but smile.
"That remains to be seen." was all he could say.
She may be right though... I've never felt quite like this before...
"In any case, I would like to get this training done." he added with a smirk.
Ketsueki's eyes grew cold again as she leapt back a couple of meters behind her puppet and attached chakra strings from her other hand to it.
"Because I don't want to use weapons, you'll be fighting Kurokarasu hand on hand combat. Or, hand on rasengan combat to be more precise. You have to activate rasengan and get Kurokarasu." Ketsueki spoke indifferently now, it was obvious her kind and warm mask was really starting to break down to show the dead and broken girl inside, there was no joke about the Kazekage being a slave driver...
Ketsueki nodded.
"I am more than prepared to repair my puppet, he needs an upgrade anyway." Ketsueki said blankly as the puppet moved into a fighting stance, "Shinigami, go and get me the book on poisons and such, I need to upgrade the poison since I have heard an antidote has been found for it."
The red haired girl looked over at her older sister and nodded.
"Right." She said before running off to get the book.
"Good." Ketsueki said before sitting down, "Now, boy, don't get too cocky, alright? Also, don't beat up my puppet too much, he needs to be repairable."
Sekibaku took the stance change of the puppet as an "I'm ready" signal. Immediately he jumped up in the air with a back flip and flung a Kunai at the puppet.
