Ket smiled.
"Hold on one second, there are a couple of books I want you to study, for they'll help you become a ninja." She said before she ran off.
A few minutes later she came back with a small stack of books.
She then lead Sekibaku over to a small study desk in the middle of the library and placed the books on the table.
She then began to restack the books beside it, saying their names as she went.
"Here I have for you the Chakra System, Chakra Blades, Puppet Mastery, Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu, Kinjutsu, Fuinjutsu, Akatsuki, Jinchuuriki and their Bijuu and last but not least, Ninja Weaponry and Tools. I want you to study these books, for they will help you in the Academy if you go there, or with me if you choose to be my student. The puppet mastery book is so you can get a feel for what I do, it has indetail descriptions on chakra strings and puppeteering. It gives you all the hidden details like how to make the special poison, how to build a puppet, focussing chakra for the shrings, you name it. I bet you know some stuff about nin, gen and taijutsu, but it just gives you some more information on it, kin and fuinjutsu, or forbidden and sealing techniques will help you out a little as well. Now, every ninja needs to learn about the chakra system, the Chakra Blades book was written by your father. He told my father to put it in his library and give it to you when you were ready. Because my father passed away, I was given that responsibility. Though I was instructed not to blab until you were Genin, I think now would be a good time for you to learn it." She explained, "Oh, the Akatsuki one is a bit out of date, it gives detail on the past Akatsuki and stuff, but it does tell you some basic stuff about the current gang. The Jinchuuriki and their Bijuu book is necessary because I want you to know what is in this world, and what is in my youngest sibling. They are the Akatsuki's target again."
"Well that's a handful!" Sekibaku said, looking at the rather large pile of books in front of him, "I'll make sure to read them all, Ketsueki-sama. However, I think it's time I got on with my training don't you? If you don't mind of course. For now I'll leave the books here and I'll pick them up when I head off, or rather, when I decide whether I want to be your student or go to the Konohagakure Academy."
With that, he placed the five books he was carrying on the table next to the others and headed for the door.
Ketsueki smiled.
"Sure" She then placed her hand on the boy's shoulder and did a one handed, half tiger sign before the two puffed away in smoke, only to appear on the large roof moments later, "You train with me and that's one of the tricks you get to learn, the body flicker technique."
"Quite impressive! And with one hand too!" Sekibaku said slightly surprised, "In any case however, I was wondering if there are any tips and / or tricks to this jutsu. At the moment I can't seem to balance my power and rotation."
He got out another balloon and tried the Rasengan again. This time, it seemed to go well for a while. Until he touched the balloon of course, he pressed it a bit and he could make a large dent in the side. So, he added a bit more power and soon after the balloon popped.
Ketsueki chuckled lightly and removed the remainder of the balloon from his hand before taking out a small ink pen.
"I know this is an old trick, truthfully, I took this from a leaf ninja I bumped into when I visited Konoha on a mission a long time ago. It should help with focus." She said sweetly as she carefully drew the leaf village symbol in the palm of the boy's right hand, "There, now I want you to focus on that point and try and preform the rasengan."
"Hm..." Sekibaku said thoughtfully, "alright."
He started to weaken his senses, by lowering the chakra flow to the specific parts of the body, first hearing, then smell, then taste, then sight, then touch. Then came the time to clear his mind out. There were so many thoughts and memories there, that he for a little while believed he wouldn't be able to. But one by one, they slid away from his mind, slowly and gradually revealing the metaphorical white background. Then he focused all his attention on that symbol on his hand.
The chakra began spinning in his hand, faster and faster, more and more violently. However the balloon refused to pop. He focused all his chakra in his palm, believing that he was not using it to its full potential. But still the balloon stayed intact.
He reactivated his senses and looked at his hand and found himself holding a balloon that wasn't even shivering, yet he could feel the immense power of the chakra inside it.
"I've done it..." he said in disbelief.
Ketsueki sighed and rubbed the back of her head.
"I guess it's time to put it to work. Just... don't beat up Kurokarasu too badly, I do have to fix him y'know, since I'm the only puppet master around these days, though I wouldn't mind teaching a few of my tricks to future puppet masters." She then did a series of hand signs before hitting her hand against the ground, "Summoning jutsu!"
When the smoke cleared, Ketsueki's eye twitched in annoyance.
"Now that... is not fair." She said with a half annoyed and half unimpressed expression as she looked at the small dog sitting in front of her, it wasn't the one with the scrolls for Kurokarasu either.
"What'd ya summon me for this time, Kazekage-sama?" The dog asked in a gruff voice, Ketsueki sweat-dropped.
"I wasn't trying to summon you, Masaru, I was trying to summon something that maybe had a little more motivation THAN YOU DID!" Ketsueki shouted in annoyance, the dog huffed and lay down, annoying the Kazekage some more, "Get up you dumb dog AND GET MY PUPPET KUROKARASU!!!"
"No need to be impatient like that, Ketsueki-sama, so how about oyu let me take a nap and I'll get it afterwards, sound good?"
"NO WAY! GET ME THAT PUPPET NOW!!!!!"
Moment by moment, that conversation was getting even weirder to Ketsueki's temporarily forgotten guest...
Confused and with a very strange expression on his face, Sekibaku thought to himself:
Okay, that was weird... Oh well, I guess it's best not to get involved...
With that he charged up the Rasengan inside the balloon again, however this time not quite focusing as much, still letting his outer senses do their jobs. After all, he wouldn't live very long if he couldn't see, hear, feel, smell or taste very well in battle.
Amazingly, once again the balloon didn't even shiver. It just sat there as if nothing was going on at all. He still couldn't believe it.
Then curiosity got the better of him.
"What was that all about?" he asked the Kazekage, "You scared me a little there..."
Ketsueki gasped and turned to Sekibaku with a guilt expression, but not before kicking the dog and having it return to where ever it came from.
"Oops, sorry. I kinda forgot about you for a second... now, let me try that again, this time with a scroll..." Ketsueki then pulled out a small scroll from a pouch within her Kazekage robe and did from hand signs after the scroll was rolled out on the ground, "Summoning jutsu!"
Finally, a limp puppet appeared that highly resembled the seventh Kazekage's Karasu from 200 years ago.
"About time." Ketsueki said to herself before sitting down and pulling out a cookie, "Now, while I do a little practice with this puppet, you can ditch the balloon and begin practising the real rasengan, I can tell you haven't far to go."
Then, with one hand, blue chakra string attached to the puppet and it stood up.
Ket finished off her cookie and stood as well, attaching the chakra string from her other hand to the puppet as well.
Suddenly, the puppet began running towards her to attack, with two blades out ready.
Once the puppet was close enough to hit, Ketsueki expertly flipped back and went and hit the puppet in the chest before making it advance with a leaf hurricane, that she dodged.
The Kazekage then threw two shuriken at the puppet and it vanished through a substitution jutsu before launching at her from behind.
She grinned and leapt over her puppet before kicking it away with ease. The wooden puppet then went limp once it hit the ground with Ketsueki landing gracefully beside it, with no signs of even breaking a sweat.
"That was fun... but fighting against something I control gets lame quickly, oh well, now, kid, lets see rasengan for real this time."
Sekibaku chuckled.
Hehe, impressive, though as she said, she controlled it so she knew exactly what it was doing. he thought.
"Okay then, Ketsueki-sama." he said as he threw the balloon on the ground. By a stroke of bad luck it just happened to hit a sharp rock lying on the roof of the Kazekage "tower". It exploded with a bang.
"Ow that hurt." he said as he grabbed his ear, "Anyway, let's try this."
And for the umpteenth time that day, Sekibaku began to channel chakra into his palm again; and slowly but surely a small blue ball of Chakra grew in his hand. Within a few seconds a Rasengan had formed. He smirked. He still couldn't believe he had gotten this far in only a day.
Ketsueki smirked, but her smirk dropped when she recognised the patterns of the sphere weren't quite right, they were all off. She sighed and shook her head and walked over to the boy.
She then placed her hand through the rasengan and gripped the boys hand, cancelling out the rasengan instantly.
"It was much to unstable to be effective, try again," She asid with a sigh as she let go of his hand and backed away again.
It's times like these I'm glad my father insisted on teaching me everything one needed to know about chakra flow and patterns along with stability recognisation. Good thing I paid attention...
"Well you sure know a lot about Chakra." Sekibaku said, smiling, "Okay then."
Too unstable huh? Hm... I wonder what I can do about that one... Aha! I think I've got it... he thought, If I just spin it in this direction, then that, and then follow it every 13 degrees... Yes, that should work!
He held out his hand, wakened his senses and cleared his mind again, focusing only on that leaf village symbol on his hand. First, he channeled that chakra in to his hand enough so it became visible, not too much power, but just enough for it to rotate. Then he first spun it left, then 13 degrees along he began to rotate it and so on and so forth, until it was slowly rotating in all directions. Following that he gradually built up the rotation and power, until even his weakened sense of touch could feel the immense power the chakra in his palm had, and how fast it was rotating in any and all directions.
Ketsueki observed the rotating sphere with a blank face, she really couldn't bother to smile at the moment, since it was putting a strain on her usually blank face.
Her cold eyes watched the powerful jutsu form and take shape in the boy's hand.
He has quite the chakra reserve. Ketsueki thought before her eyes opened wide with an image of her younger sibling popped into her head, So this is the boy the Hokage was talking about, this is the nine-tailed fox's Jinchuuriki, Sekibaku Sikinara. Hn, I heard it was a Sikinara kid who got 'lucky' with it, so to speak.
Ketsueki then had her hands glow green with the medical ninjutsu before she cancelled out the rasengan with it. Her eyes were full of sorrow.
"Sekibaku, you were doing good. Look, I have to tell you something very important, but first you must answer my question. In what way have most people treated you your whole life?"
Slightly confused, Sekibaku said: "Well, my father always treated me like he would guard me with his life, and he taught me a whole lot of things. That is, until he died. Since then I've been distant from others, so they, including my siblings, have been distant from me. Except Mimoto Hyuga, he was my best friend and we had lots of fun together. When he was killed I simply refused to let anyone in, because I had felt what it was like to lose the most important person in your life, twice, and I didn't want to feel it again."
Ketsueki sighed and placed a hand on the shorter male's shoulder.
"Have you ever felt... a different chakra within you, something that you know is not your own, normal chakra?"
