Ketsueki sighed and gave a light chuckle.
"Sure kid, just don't exhaust yourself too much. Teiru prefers his cooking to be eaten, not layed in. As funny as it would be."
He chuckled at the image in his mind.
"Thank you, Lady Kazekage." he said as he walked over and picked up a few balloons. He blew one up, and put the rest in his pocket.
"Right, Lady Kazekage, I'm ready to go." he said enthusiastically, but hungrily. And with that they set off towards Sunagakure proper.
"Hm... it will require a lot of power, and a lot of control. It may be out of my reach just yet..." Sekibaku thought to himself, "but no matter, I'm going to keep trying." and with that he began to channel chakra into his hand again.
Ketsueki looked at the boy with a smile. He reminded her of herself at that age. Always trying, pushing it to the limit, then pushing too far. She had to silently admit Ryuu Kaneda was a good teacher back in the day, having taught her Rasengan in three days flat.
Now she looked at her companion again and smiled to herself. She then wondered what influenced Ryuu to give it all up, it was nice to know you were needed.
After a silent walk and another set of failed attempts on the way to her the Kazekage tower, She stopped the two right outside the entrance before looking down at the boy with a smile.
"Please, Sekibaku-san, Lady Kazekage is pretty awkward a name, so just call me Ketsueki-sama if you want."
"Ketsueki!! There you are!! The food is getting cold--Hey, who are you?" A boy, just a year younger than Ketsueki (even though he looked 6 inches taller than her) ran over to the group wearing jean and a t-shirt, along with a snug beanie on his head, that was black, with two cat ears and two tassels, one broken half way down, down the side of his face.
"Brother, this is Sekibaku Sikinara, Sekibaku, this is my younger brother, Teiru Uchiha."
"Teiru Uchiha, huh?" Sekibaku said as he shook Teiru's hand, "nice to meet you. I hear you're a good cook!" He smiled.
"Your sister, Lady Kazekage, has been teaching me Rasengan. I haven't quite got it yet, though I've managed the water balloon, and rubber ball exercises quite well." He said enthusiastically, as he looked up at Teiru.
"Rasengan?" He then looked at Ketsueki with a look saying 'why are you doing that?', "Ketty, are you an idiot or something? He looks about 10 and you're teaching him an A-Rank jutsu. What is he? A new genin or something?"
"Um... he hasn't even been through the academy yet..." Ketsueki said with a smile as she scratched her head in guilt.
"You are way too soft, kid. Now luckily I made enough for three, so come on, it's getting cold. That chicken took me three hours and you're late, Ket."
"Quit complaining, dog-boy, and take us to the food already." Ket growl as Teiru rolled his eyes and lead herself and Sekibaku to the large dining room and the small table in the centre, in the centre of that table was a steaming hot chicken and three bowls of ramen, "Chicken? Teiru, it's been 7 years and you still eat like an Inuzuka..."
"What? Chicken is good. I put ramen out for you especially too, since you seem to like it."
"Is it plain?" Ketsueki asked as she and Teiru took up two of the seats.
"Yes... You're a fussier eater than father was."
"Kid, sit down." Ketsueki said to Seki after rolling her eyes at Teiru and discarding her Kazekage hat and white robe.
She now sat in what looked like a long blue dress. Around her waist was a bandage looking thing that acted as a belt for her.
"Whoa. I sense some sibling rivalry here." Sekibaku thought to himself as he followed Teiru and Ketsueki. When they reached the dining room he saw the steaming chicken and the three bowls of Ramen, and couldn't help letting out an astonished "whoa!". His siblings had certainly never been able to cook that well.
"That looks delicious!" he said as he sat down, "and Teiru, I'm twelve, not ten" he added with a smirk.
With that he took out his last balloon, blew it up and tried the Rasengan training again, and once again it popped.
"Not quite there..." he said under his breath.
What had earned Teiru's gasp was when the balloon popped, Ketsueki emitted chakra strings out and caught every piece as they now dangled in the air.
"Ketsueki, why'd you go and do that? You are fully aware that this food took me ages to make!"
"That's why you moron."
"Eh, eh, yea, sorry about that," Sekibaku said with an apologetic smile, as he scratched the back of his head, "I didn't mean for that to happen."
"I have to get better control over my Chakra." he added in his mind, "If not, I will never master the Rasengan..."
"Anyway, I'm hungry, so let's dig in. Who's with me?" he added happily.
Ketsueki quickly tossed the pieces of balloon aside and took her bowl of ramen while Teiru practically took half of the chicken.
"Eat up."
"Teiru, you are such a dog..." Ketsueki said blankly as she slowly took a bite of her ramen, or for a better word, plain noodles, "Mutt's right, eat up, kid. You deserve it."
This kid's a funny one, alright...
"Thank you very much, Lady Kaze-, sorry, Ketsueki-sama." he said gleefully as he helped himself to a piece of chicken.
As he ate, he couldn't helped glancing at Teiru's broken tassel. Overcome with curiosity he asked:
"Teiru-san, what happened to your hat?"
With a completely messy face from eating like a wild animal, Teiru looked at the boy with a raised eyebrow as he swallowed his bite of food and pointed to the broken left tassle-thing.
"Oh, this? A little Ryuu encounter. Nothing serious." He said with a smile as his dark brown bangs covered the side of his face, only to be moved by a gust of wind from the window to show a hidden scar running from beside his left eye to his jaw line.
The wind then settled and the bangs returned as did the back of his hair which returned to his usual place where it was shoulder-length.
He looked down at his food with a sigh as he wiped some of the chicken juice from his Inuzuka tattoos.
"Nothing serious at all..." He murmured to himself sadly before grinning and returning to ripping his chicken to a second death.
Ketsueki, on the other hand had stopped eating all together. Her eyes were wide and staring blankly forward with a fearful expression and the three tomoe sharingan activated within them. From the look on her face, it was a little more serious than Teiru made it out to be.
Astonished, Sekibaku fell back on his chair and said: "Whoa, that's a nasty scar you g- wait is that the Sharingan I've heard and read so much about?" The second part added with much curiosity.
After a small silence, Sekibaku continued to eat and just as he finished his ramen, he said:
"That scar sure doesn't look like nothing to me... it looks pretty bad."
Ketsueki realised her sharingan was activated by the vision of her brother's chakra system, and thus she deactivated it quickly. She then gave Sekibaku a warm smile before giving Teiru a cruel glare.
"Scar Shmar, it just enhances my handsome features! I may as well go thank Ryuu for it." Teiru said as he pushed his left bang behind his ear to show the scar going down his face. He smirked arrogantly before shouting out 'ow' when he was his in the forehead with a small pebble. It left quite a mark.
"Kaneda is a traitor to this village and you know it. That woman has no right to be mentioned in this household, at least not around me." Ketsueki hissed as Teiru rubbed his forehead.
"I... Yes, Kazekage-sama. I understand." Teiru said obediently as he re-hid the scar and went back to stuffing his face with whatever chicken was left.
It was at that moment a small black puppy (highly resembling Akamaru from 200 year ago) leapt up onto Teiru's head. Ketsueki groaned.
The dog said something to Teiru, making the guy gasp before glaring at his older sister.
"Ketsueki! I just got back! You're a slave driver, y'know... Gah, Sikebuka, or whatever your name is, nice meeting you." Teiru said quickly as he stood up and wiped all of the muck from his face, the pup on his head yipped again, "The Land of Lightning? Are you kidding me? It'll take me at least a week to get there! Why don't you just assign me these missions yourself without making Aoiromaru do it for you."
"Because I've got better things to do than play baby-sitter for my little brother. Lucky for you, I've decided that a squad of eight all together are going, so you get seven kage level, jounin comrads. I expect to see you after two months time, now beat it and don't let the dog die... I rather like his company unlike yours."
"Geez, you're meaner to me than father was to the kid. Later."
With that, the Kazekage's brother, along with Aoiromaru, was gone.
"It'll be two weeks at least until my youngest sibling returns, and my next meeting with the council won't be for another week. I have some jounin dealing with mission handouts and that bloody annoying paperwork, leaving me with some time on my hands. Once you're done, I can give you a tour of the building before we can resume training on the roof." Ketsueki explained with a warm smile, though her onyx eyes were stone cold.
"Wow you sure have a lot of people under your command, Ketsueki-sama" Sekibaku said to the Kazekage. "Anyway, I'm full. When your brother returns, make sure to tell him from me, that he is a good cook."
Sekibaku got up, and only now noticed the beautiful blue dress the Kazekage was wearing.
She's not shabby looking! he thought.
"I would really like to see the tower, Ketsueki-sama." he added this time aloud, so the Kazekage could hear it. "I would also like to know more about that Sharingan of yours."
Ketsueki smiled and ruffled the boy's hair.
He's a curious one. She thought with a smile as she slipped on her white coat and the cloth she wore around her neck, completing her Kazekage outfit.
"The wind country is a large place, as is the rain and bear countries. It is my duty to guide these three shinobi nations known as the kazekage village set. You, along with sound and snow follow the leadership of the Hokage. Thanks to our peace treaty with the hokage village set, I'm aloud to take you under my wing as a student. If you want, I can spare you the annoyance of the academy have you as my personal student. The only condition is that you have to become a genin ninja for either sand, rain or star. What do you say, Sekibaku-san?"
