Sekibaku's Training: RASENGAN!
In a puff of smoke, Ketsueki arrived at the designated training grounds in a split second while twirling a small kunai in her hand.
She was waiting for a young leaf academy student who wanted to learn the rasengan, Ketsueki was more than willing to take the job. After all, the mid-teen liked kids.
She then tossed her kunai into the ground and folded her arms.
He should be here soon...
I trekked through the desert searching for Sunagakure's training grounds. Earlier that day I had expressed a willingness to learn the Rasengan after doing a bit of study and learning of Naruto Uzumaki - the Sixth Hokage. To my amazement Ketsueki Uchiha, the 19th Kazekage herself had offered to teach me, and as such I was on my way.
I looked up and saw what looked like a training field, about a mile ahead.
"At last..." I said as I began to race towards the grounds.
Even though the boy was about a mile away, Ketsueki caught onto his chakra signature quickly and smirked.
"He's fast." Ketsueki mumbled to herself as she did a small set of hand signs, "Earth style: hidden in stones jutsu"
The Kazekage then merged into the rock she was leaning on, the only trace of her previous presence was that kunai.
As I neared the training grounds I discovered them to be empty. I was confused, because I knew I was slightly late and I had expected the Kazekage to be there.
I arrived at the training grounds, and it was indeed empty. Suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere a kunai came flying at my head. I quickly dodged to the left, however I sustained a cut on my right ear.
"Lady Kazekage?" I yelled out.
Suddenly Ketsueki emerged from the rock half way so her waist up was shower as her choppy black hair was tied back in a ponytail.
"I bet you can't wait to into the academy, eh kid?" Ketsueki asked, smirking the whole time as she finished emerging from the rock completely and picked up her kunai, "Sorry, didn't mean to get you."
She then pocketed the kunai and with a glowing, green, chakra infused hand, used her medical ninjutsu to heal the cut.
"I'm not a medical genius, but nicks and cuts I can handle." The female Kazekage said with a smirk as her hand returned to normal and she dusted off her blue and white kazekage robes, "So, ready for training, kid?"
I put my hand up to my ear and felt the cut was gone. I smirked.
"Heh. Yes, I am eager to join the academy. I have my own..." he though about what he was about to say next, "reasons. For joining.
I looked at the kunai in Ketsueki's hand. "That's a good aim you have there. My guess is you were testing me?" I asked looking back to her face.
Without waiting for an answer I turned and walked a few paces, before turning around again.
"Yes, Lady Kazekage. I am eager to begin."
Ketsueki smiled.
"Great."
She then flicked the rock she emerged from and it shattered to pieces, reveal a bag full of water balloons.
The 19th then took out one of them and handed it to Sekibaku before taking one herself.
"Alright, the first step to learning Rasengan, is rotating chakra enough to burst that water balloon. Remember, it's not easy, the fourth Hokage took three years to learn it, but this should cut down time." Ketsueki smirked and sat down, holding out her hand as the water in the balloon began to rotate, "The point of this exercise is to pop maintain the balance of chakra flow in your palm while at the same time making the water inside spike and rotate. What you want is to pop the water balloon with chakra force only. Watch."
Ket then lifted her hand up into the boy's view and the water inside it began to spin and not before long, the water balloon began to spike around everywhere before popping. The water got her on the knee a little.
"See? Now you give it a try."
"Hm...."
I picked up a water balloon and placed it in my right hand. I closed my eyes and began to concentrate.
"Nyurgh" I uttered while I felt the water spinning at ever increasing speed in the balloon in my palm. Then I opened my eyes and saw the balloon was stretching. However it was smooth, it had not a single bulge any where on it's surface.
I stopped the chakra flow and sat down. I tried to figure out a way that would make it bulge like it did in the hand of the Kazekage.
Ketsueki smiled sweetly at the boy.
"Hey, don't worry, it took me a week to even master the water balloon with one hand, after all, it's not easy. Go on, try again."
"Yes lady Kazekage. I am simply trying to think of a way to make the balloon bulge..." I said softly. I closed my eyes and did a little habit of mine when I think (I curl up my middle finger, my ring finger and my pinky on both hands, and put my hands together. I place the thumbs on my nose and the index fingers on my forehead).
Then I remembered something. Something I had read. About the sixth Hokage... I then opened my eyes quickly, got up and picked up the water balloon again.
"Hm... to make the balloon bulge, I will need to make the water spin in all directions at the same time. Uzumaki did this using his other hand..." I though to myself. Then I tried again.
The balloon began to bulge in different places, but still refused to burst, I focused more and more of my chakra into my palm. And all of a suddent, the ballon went pop and the water sprayed everywhere. However I know by instinct that I had accidentally activated my Kekkei Genkai, the Chakra Blades.
"Sorry Lady Kazekage" I apologized, "It was an accident. Every now and then when I focus a lot of chakra in my hand, it releases itself in the form of Chakra Blades."
I took the second water balloon and tried again. This time I focused less chakra in my hand, and concentrated more on rotating it. I had my eyes closed, concentrating as hard as I could, and I felt the ball begin to bulge in my hand again. Then I heard a bang from my hand and water was splashing on to the ground. At that moment a memory popped in to my head, the murder of my father. I gasped and fell to the ground.
Ketsueki's eyes opened wide in worry as she knelt down next to the boy and pulled him into a comforting hug. All those years of playing mum for her siblings did pay off.
"Hey, Hey, Hey. Calm down Sekibaku-san, calm down. It's alright. Was I pushing you a little to hard with the training?" She asked in a worried voice, "It's alright, it's ok... I'm here now... I'm here..."
I was shocked. Never had I been hugged like that, which wasn't surprising due to the untimely death of my mother.
"No... Lady Kazekage... No. I was... simply flooded... with memories." I said, panting as I detached myself from Ketsueki. "That bang reminded me of that rogue Sound Ninja who killed my father. He used some Ninjutsu to produce a sound just like that to knock my father to the ground before throwing a kunai at his neck... Don't worry about me Lady Kazekage. I'll be ok..."
I got up and brushed the sand off my clothes.
"So. What's next?"
Ketsueki cringed.

"Father? FATHER?! Ryuu-sensei! You've got to help father! He's dying!" A 14-year-old Ketsueki cried out as she knelt down beside her dying father, "Ryuu-sensei!"
"Don't be so naive, Ketty. I killed him, and now you're next!" Ryuu sneered as she drew out two shuriken.

"I... Don't worry, I know what it's like to watch someone precious to you die by the hands of another... Well, how about we try and get a better hang of the water balloon popping. Here," Ketsueki stated as she placed a water balloon in Sekibaku's other hand, "Try it with the opposite hand now."
